Trauma services meeting
November 8, 2011

Are you interested in services for patients with major trauma, that is life changing serious injuries, they might be from a major car crash, high falls, explosion or similar? If so, you may be interested in attending a meeting on this subject on December 2 in Leeds (more details below).

NHS organisations in Yorkshire and the Humber are working on a regional network to co-ordinate NHS services for patients who sustain major trauma. The network aims to ensure consistent high quality care for all major trauma patients regardless of where and when they sustain their injuries.

The meeting, which runs from 9am- 12noon, is being organised by NHS Yorkshire and Humber and takes place at their office,  Blenheim House, Duncombe Street, Leeds, LS1 4PL It will bring together organisations and individuals with an interest in this work to hear about progress to date and to share their views and help shape the next stages of the work.

You do not need specialist knowledge to attend the event but an understanding of and interest in the care of people who sustain major trauma would be advantageous.

To book your place, please email CLOAKING or call her on 0113 295 3637.
