| First Authorised Representatives Named |

We now have a group of Authorised Representatives who have completed their training and can undertake visits on behalf of Sheffield LINk. Their role is to observe how local health and social care services are being provided, what is being done really well, examples of good practice and whether the needs and preferences of the community are being met. They will also document recommendations for improvement where things are not so good, or where there are gaps in provision. We are required by law to publish the names of our Authorised Representatives. Our first six are: Alan Carter, Frances Darlington, Alice Riddell, Helen Rowe, Mike Smith and Alice Underwood. A number of others are awaiting CRB and other checks and their names will be published once these are complete. If you are interested in becoming an authorised representative, please contact Steve Wright on 0114 253 6689 and he will let you know when our next training will take place. |
