About 15 members attended the Big Health Conversation meeting hosted by Sheffield LINk. This was part of a campaign being run by NHS Sheffield to find out what improvements local people want to see to services. This was all about their new five-year strategy 'Achieving Balanced Health'.
Simon Kirk, Director of Strategy at NHS Sheffield, asked those present to break into small groups to consider 4 questions. There was some lively debate as people discussed:
- How should NHS Sheffield decide what and what not to spend NHS money on?
- How can they continue to improve the safety of patients?
- How should they measure the success of patient treatment?
- How can they improve the experience for patients?
