Sheffield Local Involvement Network

Every LINk has a legal duty to produce an annual report for each year of operation, which must be submitted to the Department of Health by the end of June.

Sheffield LINk's second Annual Report (left) covering the period April 2009 to March 2010 has now been published. It is entitled 'making a difference' and includes information on the progress we have made in involving local people in influencing health and social care in Sheffield.

In particular, it covers the work we have done in involving the local community, how we have used our legal powers to request information and undertake 'enter and view' visits and some of the results we have started to see.  

Our first annual report covers the period April 1 2008 to March 31 2009 and was written in May 2009. It is called 'Our journey begins...' since it covers the start of the LINk. It focuses on our achievements of the first Governing Board, which started work in November and continued until elections for the new Governing Board in March 2009.
