About Sheffield LINk

Mike Chairs LINk MeetingSheffield LINk is our Local Involvement Network.  People using local health and social care services can use the LINk to have their say and influence how those services are planned and delivered.

Established by legislation but independent of the Government, we find out what people think about services and monitor the care provided. We make sure that the organisations providing health and social care services take local people's views into account.

Sheffield LINk welcomes individuals and groups.  Anyone can get involved – interested individuals, voluntary organisations, patient groups, carer networks or schools. You can join our mailing list for news or participate in events and surveys. We'd like you to share your views with us and help propose the issues we should explore. Membership is free and you can get involved as much or as little as suits you.

We've already started a number of action groups on the issues our members believe are important. These are small working groups made up of LINk members interested in improving specific services through Activities.
